My name is Ayla Allen and I am a proud adapted curriculum special education teacher. I am an East Carolina University alumna, and am so excited to begin my first year teaching! I have a background in assistive technology, and am always looking at the latest technology and discovering ways to integrate it in the classroom. I am from New York originally, but have been enjoying my time living in North Carolina. I plan on teaching in North Carolina, and am pursuing my Masters degree in special education currently. I aspire to be the best teacher I can be, and always want to make sure I am doing all that I can for my students. A fun fact about me is that I love traveling! I love being able to bring back information that I've learned in other states and different countries to my students.
